Modern Day Cher Horowitz

My sisters bachelorette extravaganza has finally arrived! Andddd so did hurricane Joaquin.

Not to worry though. All the girls were such troopers and we had a beyond epic weekend. Night 1: El Cocotero dinner- insane Venezuelan food, highly suggest. Followed by a show at the OG location of the Comedy Cellar. Ended up next door at Off the Wagon until 3am. Oops.

Next morning we had brunch catered to the hotel and showered the bide-to-be with sexy honeymoon lingerie and tear-jerking cards. We napped some more and then conquered a super fun scavenger hunt around the city that I put together.

Night 2: The Slipper Room! This was super cheap ($20/ticket)  but still bougie and fabulous. The trick is to get there SUPER early as there is not enough seating for everyone. Me being OCD, I had the girls get there at 7:45, doors opened at 8 and show started at 9:30. SO WORTH IT as we ended up getting the entire front row to ourselves and each and every one of us was pulled up on stage at some point- will not be putting pictures up of this!

I had been planning my outfit for a few weeks after finding this legendary 70's tartan kimono from Olde Sanctuary. Definitely needed a belt, and after scouring the internet I fell in love with this one from ASOS- kind of karate-like which went in theme with the kimono. The bottoms needed to be tight and sexy as the top was baggy- leather leggings (also from ASOS) are a go-to for me when I want to be sexy in cold weather. Threw on my favorite strappy suede heels from Zara and BOOM, PERFECTION.
